determine the safest, most efficient way to do it to help
people avoid injury or reinjury.

POET's Post Offer Employment Testing –
How do we return an injured worker to their usual
and customary position, if they were physically
unable to perform the physical demands of the job?
A POET is a tool used to test a worker's physical
abilities to the specific physical demands of a job.
POETs are performed after a conditional job offer
is made, but before starting work. They can screen
out candidates who cannot perform the physical
job demands, reduce work related injuries and gather
baseline data in motion, strength and functional
status. The results are cost savings by:
injury prevention, post-injury baselines and apportionment.
